Store Hours and FAQ's
Q: How long do I get to keep the rental?
A: Rentals are due when the semester ends. Fall rentals are due December 10th, 2021.
Q: Can I use my financial aid to pay for books?
A: If a student has excess financial aid, they may use that to purchase course materials in store or online. However, students will want to check with the Financial Aid department to ensure that their excess aid will be released to the bookstore.
Q: I like to buy my books instead of renting because I may need them in the future. Why should I rent?
A: You can always choose to buy your rentals. We have a no-risk rental which means your full rental price can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay $50 to keep the book at the end of the semester.
Q: What if I end up not needing a book?
A: You can return your books for a full refund within the first week of classes. Books must be returned in the same condition they were rented in, and payment will be returned to the original payment type.
Q: What are your hours for the first week of classes?
A: Below is a list of our August hours:
August 2nd - 17th: 8 am - 5 pm
August 18th - 20th: 8 am - 7 pm
August 21st & 22nd: 8 am - 5 pm
August 23rd & 24th: 8 am - 7 pm
August 25th - 28th: 8 am - 5 pm
Q: I don't go to UCA, can I still order my books from you?
A: Unfortunately our site is only for UCA students. We order books specifically based on the enrollment at classes at UCA. While we'd love to serve every student, that would mean we wouldn't have enough books for UCA, and it would raise our prices. To avoid that, we only sell to UCA students. Orders to students at other universities will be canceled.
Q: Do you purchase course materials?
A: Yes, the bookstore pays cash for course materials. Give us a call at (501) 450-3414 or send us an email with your book ISBNs, and we will giving you buyback pricing. You can mail us your books or drop them off at the bookstore and get paid.
Q: What kind of materials do you purchase?
A: The bookstore purchases all types of course materials: books (hardback, paperback, loose-leaf, novels, trade, etc.), calculators, clickers, and much more. Send us an email with your book ISBNs, and we will giving you buyback pricing. You can mail us your books or drop them off at the bookstore and get paid.
We understand going to an actual bookstore isn't for everyone. Avoid the crowds: order online! You can simply place your order online and we will ship it to you. Or, if you want to save money on shipping, place your order and select in-store pickup to grab it from us -- with no extra charge! If you order used books, we will do our best to fill your order. Please note, however, that unavailable used books will automatically substitute to new copies. The best way to avoid paying any extra is to rent your books. If you decide at the end of the semester to keep the book(s), you only pay the difference... no hidden fees or charges!
