What Does It Mean to Opt Out?
Opting out removes the Inclusive Access charge from your student account and revokes your digital access in Blackboard. If you opt out, you are responsible for obtaining required course materials on your own before assignments are due.

Opt-Out Deadlines

Requests submitted after the deadline cannot be processed.
After You Opt Out
- Digital access in Blackboard is removed within 24 hours.
- The Inclusive Access charge is removed from your student account once confirmed. This can take 72-96 hours.
- You must secure required materials elsewhere at market price. This is often at a higher price than through the Inclusive Access Program
- You are able to opt back in up to the census date. After that time, the discounted price is not available.
