What Does It Mean to Opt Out?
Opting out removes the Day One Access charge from your student account and revokes your digital access in Blackboard/Brightspace. If you opt out, you are responsible for obtaining required course materials on your own before assignments are due.

After You Opt Out
- Digital access in Blackboard/Brightspace is removed within 24 hours.
- The Day One Access charge is removed from your student account once confirmed. This can take 72-96 hours.
- You must secure required materials elsewhere at market price. This is often higher than the Day One Access Program price.
- You are able to opt back in up to the census date. After that time, the discounted price is no longer available.
